Is anyone else noticing an issue with Rise image uploads taking an unreasonably long time at the moment? Time of issue is 4pm BST/ 11am EST on 6th Sept 19.
Hi there, David. We didn't notice any sluggishness or get other reports around that time. I'm sorry if you saw some lagging, though! Let me know if you're still having an issue, and we can take a look. Helpful details will include if it's happening with any images you try, and in more than one lesson. Thanks!
Hi Crystal, thanks for replying. If no one else saw the issue I'm happy to put it down to something happening on my end. I got the job done, a bit slower than I'd have liked but no harm done!
I have had this problem occur multiple times. Sometimes refreshing the web browser and starting over helps. But right now, I am waiting for my upload to finish. Something that should be instant is still spinning.
I'm going to connect you with our Support Engineers so we can gather some more information from you. Those details will help us nail down the reason why images are uploading so slowly. Keep an eye out for an email from the team soon!
Uploading videos and pictures at Rise 360 for a course takes forever. They are saved in Dropbox local. Does this have sth to do with the speed? Also if I try to upload only 1 pic at a time it is still too slow. The connection is very fast here so I am wondering what it might be...
Hi there, Sofia. Try copying those image assets directly to your local C: drive, or pausing the sync on your Dropbox folder. There might be some slowness caused by the "network" nature of the Dropbox setup.
If that doesn't help, we'd be happy to help you in a case!
