Rise quiz attempts and Workday communication issue?

Hello all, 

We currently use Workday as our LMS and just found a glitch that is occurring with our courses. We currently have all of our Rise courses set to allow 3 attempts and require a passing percentage of 80%. We have the tracking set to track using quiz result. The learner can exit the course before the quiz or even while in the middle of taking the quiz for the first time and have no problem coming back into the course where they left off. However, we have come to find that if a learner fully completes one attempt at the quiz and exits the course, the course lists as complete. So if they failed the initial quiz attempt, they cannot come back into the course and use their other two quiz attempts. If they stay in the course and don't exit, everything works as expected, with the learner being able to take the quiz 3 times, and the course not allowing them to advance if they don't get 80%, marking them with a "complete" and a "fail" after the third attempt. I am wondering if anyone has had this experience with their LMS marking their Rise courses complete without all quiz attempts being attempted (if they haven't passed the quiz)? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

As a troubleshooting step, you can test how your course behaves in SCORM Cloud to isolate if the issue you're experiencing is LMS-specific. If you're able to replicate the behavior in SCORM Cloud, please open a case with our support team here so we can have them take a closer look at the behavior.
