Rise Quiz XAPI Activity IDs
Sep 06, 2019
I'm moving from Scorm1.2 to XAPI (hooray!). As I'm testing, I've noticed an issue with the statements being sent to my LRS (Learning Locker) by my Rise courses, in particular from the Quiz section.
Every time a different learner answers each question, a statement is sent through giving a different Activity ID, rather than the same. This makes it impossible to compile responses in Learning Locker for analysis.
Has anybody else experienced this? If so, what did you do to overcome it?

Hi there, Vincent. The activity IDs have a timestamp appended to the end which should explain the difference in IDs among learners. This timestamp is within the xAPI standard, but we're having a look the impact it's having on your ability to compile your data.
I'll let you know if there are any changes in this area!
Thanks Crystal. Can you tell me why Articulate made this the case for Rise output but not for Storyline? In Storyline modules the IDs remain consistent and I'm able to compile them in visualisations. The inconsistency doesn't make sense!
I hear you. We are aware of the difference between the Storyline 360 and Rise 360 data sets, and we'll keep this discussion updated with new information.
