We are having issues getting a scorm file into Oracle. Normally we would write to the scormcontent/index.html file and it will open a web browser.
When ever we click on the index.html file (unzipped folder on our desktop), its not opening in any browser at all. Thew it into Scormcloud and it all works fine. We just cant get it to work in Oracle or in a browser.
Does Oracle support HTML5? I searched and found one other discussion where a user was having a similar hard time and their LMS admin mentioned a lack of HTML5 support.
Feel free to reach out to Heidi in that discussion to confirm -you could always use the "contact me" button on a ELH users' profile to reach out to them directly!
Let us know if you're able to figure out how to upload into Oracle!
PARTIALLY SOLVED: for some reason, even though we are using Internet Explorer 11, clicking the index.html file wouldnt open the course. I tired to "open with Chrome" and it worked fine. Fingers crossed they can make it play.
Back again lol.. we now have a different issue. The sys-admin is pointing Oracle to the inital.html file to get it to play... now its not tracking.. any ideas?
Is the Oracle admin pointing to that file to deal with the issue you mentioned for Internet Explorer? Could your LMS force compatibility mode when using IE11? Take a look at this article for an explanation that may help with the course not opening in IE11.
