The "Share" function
Nov 08, 2019
Is the "Share"-function an option for final delivery to a client?
Say the client wants a brief introduction of the company and some important bits of information, like sort of a digital handbook, but they do not have an LMS or a web page that they want to store it in and they don't want to fiddle around with "Scorm Cloud" - it seems like an easy sollution to just supply them with a "Share" link, or do You have other suggestions for delivery in such a case?
If I send the client the link to the course (with a password), via the share-function in Rise, where is the course stored then? Will it always be accessible to them? Are there any risks or downsides to this solution?

Hi, Kompetenslaget,
We recommend a permanent web host as a more reliable storage solution. That way, if you delete the course from your Rise 360 dashboard or decide not to renew your Articulate 360 subscription, your client can still access their content.
Thank You Alyssa! Do You recommend "Scorm Cloud" that someone mentioned to me? Is that a way to upload a course externally and even keep track of learner progress? What are your experiences wit that...?
Hi, Kompetenslaget!
SCORM Cloud is an industry-standard testing engine, and it's free to use. It's ideal for LMS troubleshooting, but I've never used it for permanent hosting or for sharing a course with learners. Hopefully other folks in the community can weigh in with their experience!
Scorm cloud is free for 5 users and minimal content (100mb) after that you will pay a per user per month fee.
