Unspecified error when uploading video to Rise course

I tried uploading a video to my course in Rise and got an error message each time I attempted to upload the video. The error message only said "error" and nothing else. The video is in mp4 format. I sent the video file to a co-worker, who was able to upload the video with no issue. 

I tried changing the file format, restarting my computer, signing in and out of Rise, and checking for updates to Rise. Nothing has worked, I continue to get the error message. I am wondering why this might be? Again, a co-worker was able to upload the video to the Rise course without issue.

Since the behavior appears to be isolated to your computer, you can try the following troubleshooting steps to see if they work for you:

  • Clear your browser's cache.
  • Use a private or incognito window to upload the video.
  • Make sure that your browsers are up-to-date.
  • Use a different browser to make changes to your Rise 360 course.
