On our team, one employee created content in Rise. The content has been published to our LMS. However, when edits are necessary - how can she share that content so that a different employee can make edits to it? We have a shared drive on which our Storyline 360 content is located. But, we can't figure out how she can give me access to make edits and updates to the Rise content because it seems to only exist in her Articulate account.
Hi Cindy! Articulate 360 Teams subscribers can easily collaborate on Rise courses. Create and edit different lessons in a course at the same time or take turns fine-tuning the same lesson. Check out this page for more information on collaboration! I will note, however, that only the course's owner can share the course with learners, publish it to Articulate Review to collect feedback from stakeholders, and export it for hosting in an LMS or web server.
Thank you very much, Elizabeth. That is helpful information. We don't have Articulate Teams. We just have the individual copies right now. It sounds like if we're going to use Rise on a more regular basis we will need to look into getting the "teams" version. Take care! Cindy
If you need to share a course with another colleague who also has access to Rise, you can use the Send a Copy feature as well. If you're thinking about upgrading to teams, please reach out to our Sales team here, and they'll be happy to talk you through the options!
Elizabeth, will there ever be an option to allow collaborators to also share, publish to Review, and export the course to an LMS? Maybe as the course owner be able to assign read or contribute rights to team members?
We currently have a team subscription and often times have to cover for one another when someone is unavailable and it makes it very difficult not to have access to a course in someone's absence. We are loving Rise and all it's features, except for this particular issue with the course ownership. I know you can transfer ownership within team members, but absences aren't usually planned.
Any other ideas you have on how to overcome this issue will be appreciated. Thanks.
I really appreciate the insight you shared in how we could improve the Rise workflow for your team. We're continuously exploring new features and improvements for Rise, and customer input is vital in that process!
Rise does have a feature that will allow you to transfer ownership, but as you mentioned, absences aren't always planned.
I'll tag this thread to be updated if there are any new developments with this feature. Thanks again for your feedback!
Please add the shared publishing feature. As a large organization (15000 employees) 50+ users, we have to limit the publishing to a group of about 10 of us.
I can understand how important this feature is to you, and our team will let folks know here as soon as we can if it makes our roadmap and any info on the ETA.
Thanks for checking in, it's helpful to know how many folks need a particular feature, as our focus is on making a product you truly love.
Are you also looking for a Shared Publishing feature? While you can currently collaborate on a course with other team members, only the original course creator can publish the course.
If this additional feature is added to Rise in the future, we'll let you know!

Agreed, would very much like to see the shared publishing feature! Commenting so I'll get the update. :)
Any new updates? I know I'm probably being impatient, but this is very important in what we do. :)

My company is also enjoying Rise but experiencing this challenge. We have put Rise courses on hold until we can find a solution that works for us.
Hi Cecile!

Hi everyone,
Good news: we just released some new features that are going to solve a lot of the pain you've points you've brought up in this thread.
The first one allows you to assign different roles for different users. Here's a video that shows how that works.
The second one makes it easy to transfer Rise 360 content from one team member to another when someone leaves the team.
Check out this video to see how it works and this step-by-step tutorial for more details.
And these aren't the only cool features we released today! Visit our what’s new page for the full list.
Let me know if you have any questions or comments. :)
