Hi Lisa and Michael, I note that your comments were a year ago so I'm not sure if your question still needs answering, but I might be able to help. When you click on the "hamburger" it opens the menu as a layer. The default setting for a layer is to "Hide other slide layers" which as a result closes any layers you may have open, showing the base layer of the particular slide you're on while the new layer opens - in this case the menu. You can change this setting by clicking on the little gear icon next to the layer name (in this case it would be the menu layer in the slide master). Once you've opened this menu you will see the slide layer properties, uncheck the "Hide other slide layers" check box. This should solve your problem of things disappearing when you open the menu, ... Expand
