I am attempting to publish a Powerpoint .pptx file with Articulate Presenter '09. When I go to publish, I get an error window with the heading AP6.exe - Application Error, and the text "The exception unknown software exception (0xc0000417) occurred in the application at location 0x036f425c."
Sorry to hear about the trouble you're having with this. First, make sure that the files you're working with are all on your local hard drive. If you work with any content on a network drive, USB drive, etc, you may run into some unexpected issues.
Also, make sure you are running the 32-bit installation of Microsoft Office. If you need help finding this information, let me know.
