Articulate Presenter freeze / missing images
Apr 26, 2013
We are working with Articulate Presenter 09 and Microsoft Office 2010 on Windows 7 and lately we are having some problems which requires your support.
Basically we have three problems:
1. Importing audio files results in a freeze
2. Preview is not working
3. After publishing, all the images are missing and the layout looks very different than the input file.
We tried to solve our problems by following the help cases on your page, but we are still not able to fix it.

Welcome to the community, Y!
First, I would make sure that you're working with local files and that the file names/paths contain no special characters.
Additional information regarding "Naming Files, Paths, and Namespaces" in Windows operating systems can be found in the following Microsoft article.
Articulate Studio '09 is only supported with a system DPI setting of 96. If you're using a DPI setting other than 96, you'll encounter erratic behavior in the desktop applications and the published output. The following list provides some examples of unexpected behavior that you may encounter:
Also, does this happen when you're working with a specific file? If you can, please create a new Presenter presentation. Does the same thing happen when you try to insert audio, preview or publish?
I hope this helps!
Christine
Thanks for your reply, but all conditions are already in place and the issues happen on all presentations.
I hope you have more ideas to fix the problem.

Yannik
Good morning Yannik,
Thanks for getting back to me!
Since this is happening in all presentations, it may be an issue with the installation of Studio.
Please follow the troubleshooting steps outlined in the following support article:
Unexpected or erratic behavior in Articulate Studio '09
Let me know if you see any improvements after taking those steps.
Thanks!
Christine
