Articulate Presenter RIbbon Consistenly Disappears_Why?

Hi, all. Ne
I have been reading some posts on this, but wanted to post my own question.
I have a Dell computer with Windows 7 Enterprise, Intel Core Processor, 8GB memory and 64 bit operating system. I have upgraded to Presenter '13 along with PowerPoint 2013.
Previously I had Presenter '09 with PowerPoint 2010.
PowerPoint keeps crashing and the ribbon keeps disappearing. Everytime I follow the instructions to add the ribbon back, it disappears. Sometimes taking the audio and animations with it.
Why is this doing this? Is this a product issue, server issue, computer issue?
Are there any other solutions besides adding the ribbon and uninstalling/re-installing?
Thanks.

Hi Ramona and welcome to E-Learning Heroes!
Be sure that when creating, editing, and publishing Articulate Presenter '13 courses, be sure you're working on your local hard drive (typically your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, such as file corruption, an inability to save changes, and loss of resources. See this article for more information.
I would recommend starting with the repair listed in this article and if it does not help you, then proceed with the uninstall/reinstall.
Yep, something like this can sometimes be solved with a repair/reinstall. Be sure to let us know if it worked!
