Articulate warning message

Sep 02, 2013

I've been writing an asbestos course in PowerPoint 2010 and have finally reached the point where I want to see how it looks in Articulate. I have no idea why but I get the following warning message...

The course has never been created before so it cannot have been done with a 'newer version'.

If I delete the Articulate (ppta) file then it will work but as soon as I use Articulate, and the ppta file is recreated, I get this pop up notification again.

Other courses I've already created don't seem to have a problem. Some of the text and images I use in this course have been taken from an older version of PowerPoint (2003 I think but I didn't write it) so could it be some old formatting code or something?

Hi Tony,

It sounds like it's this one particular file, correct? It sounds like the file may have been corrupted. This article with troubleshooting directions should help you determine how to fix it. If you're still having difficulty please feel free to share your Presenter file by packaging it and sharing with our Support team.
