Cannot Preview, Publish or Change Player Settings
Nov 08, 2013
I have an Articulate Presenter course with Engage Interactions. I have been trying to work on my course all day and now it appears to be unusable. Whenever I try to preview the course I get a "we're sorry something went wrong with articulate presenter '13" error.
At first I thought the error was caused because I was adding audio; not that adding audio should cause errors, but it was the only change I had made to the course. Now I realize that the issue occurs any time I access an Engage Interaction from within the Articulate tab of PowerPoint. Emphasis on access, because it makes no difference whether or not I actually edit/save any changes to the interaction.
I have tried this with all my backups of the course, so now they are all giving the same error. Each time I opened a course, I went to the Player option to see if I could access that, then I would try to Preview, and everything would be working fine. Then I would access one of the Engage Interactions. Again, whether I made a change to the interaction or not, when I returned to PowerPoint and tried to Preview, access Player settings or Publish I'd get the error "we're sorry something went wrong with articulate presenter '13."
I need to know how to fix this. There's no good reason for this to be happening, unless the software is just faulty.

Hi Fernando and welcome to E-Learning Heroes!
Just to confirm:
You meet the system requirements
You are working locally
Is this happening to one file or all files
You have conducted a repair of your software
Are you receiving some kind of error when you try to preview and publish?
Would you be able to share your Articulate Package for us to have a look?
I have the same issue too! cannot preview and publish my final studio files. (Total 9 articulate project)
I have tried to copy and redo the slides, and still cannot publish it. Frustrated! Pls help! :(
Hi Fareeza!
If you have gone through the troubleshooting that I shared above, you are welcome to share one of your files for me to have a look at as well.
If you are unable to share here in the forums, please share here.
This happened to me when I used a teeter animation on a table.
Hi Julee - This thread is a bit dated. Were you just sharing your experience or do you need us to take a look at a project for you?
