Welcome to E-Learning Heroes, Lori!

The file you provided will only open with Storyline, not Studio. These are two separate software packages. Also, looks like the methods that Bruce suggested may be limited to the features of Storyline (light boxes, etc.).

Can you give us some information on what you'd like to do in Presenter? Or, you can also try responding in the original thread and ask if Bruce (or any other community members) may be able to recreate this particular example in Presenter.

Here's the thread:

Need a basic slide that acts as tutorial for end-user

Thanks and welcome again!

We have end users all over the world who are being introduced to Articulate Presenter Studio edition for the first time with our eLearning development.  I’d like to insert a tutorial for them as an introduction to what they have control of – sound, play, reverse, sidebar navigation, slide change, next slide, glossary, quizzes, etc.  I’d like it to look like your tutorials for us (developers).  Do you have an insert like that made?

Hi Lori,

I haven't been able to find exactly what you're looking for, but I do have some suggestions that may help you out with this.

First, if you take a look at this page, you'll see quite a bit of helpful tutorials on Studio:

Articulate Presenter - Tutorials

One option would be to insert hyperlinks into a slide in your presentation that would launch any of the tutorials the user would like to review.

Another option would be to insert the tutorials you'd like to show to the users as web objects in your slides.

I put together a very quick example (it's nothing fancy) to give you an idea of how this would work:

Example for Lori

Do you have any specific tutorials in mind that you'd like to use? Can you share the links with me for those tutorials? If so, I can try using either method suggested above and put together a small presentation for you.

Thanks!

Christine

In Presenter Studio, could one of the Heroes make a quick tutorial for end users on sound, play, reverse, sidebar navigation, slide change, next slide, glossary, quizzes, etc.  I’d like it to look like the tutorials made for developers, meaning the cursor arrow is actively moving on the screen pointing to the different controls a user has when viewing an eLearning.  But I don't have Storyline, so this thread won't open.  http://community.articulate.com/cfs-file.ashx/__key/CommunityServer.Components.Avatars/Navigation-Example.story

Can we have the same tutorial in Presenter Studio?
