Engage wont save changes

I am working in articulate presenter 13. I am making changes to engage slides in some of my courses... press save at the top (just because its habit) and then save and return to presenter.... the "Date Modified" date does not change to todays date. If I press edit in engage it shows my changes.... however, if I open the engage file directly, none of my changes are there and when I go back through powerpoint and click edit in engage, all of my work that I did was not saved.
this is causing me to redo all of my work. I just realized that this is happening today and the work that I have done since last week I will have to go back and redo it all.
can some one help me out? I emailed articulate already but I figured I could get a response/resolution faster here....

Hi Angelle,
The Engage file should update whenever you make changes. Can I verify that you do not have a copy of the file that you may have been working from? You could try a repair of the software to see f if this helps. Also you could share the Presenter Package here, so we can take a look.
I am going to try and uninstall the program and reinstall it to see if that will help
