ERROR: Your Articulate Presenter project cannot be upgraded to the new Articulate Presenter '13 file format.
Jul 17, 2019
I have been getting the above error. It is a hit and miss as to when this happens. My IT department updated my Articulate files and it seemed to be working fine, then it happened today. I was in a very large PowerPoint and had gone through several Articulate files with no issue, some as old as 2016. I went into one dates 4/2018 and I got the error. When the error occurs, it changes the Articulate Presenter Project file to include -old. Then I can't access any of the Articulate files within the PowerPoint as I no longer have a project file. This is getting very frustrating. My IT department is going to completely remove Articulate and reinstall, but I would like to know why this is happening in case it doesn't work. I looked through the discussions and it looks like this was an issue several years ago, but doesn't seem to be current. The course I am working in has 24 Articulate files and 210 slides. I don't have time to recreate it which seems to be the workaround in the past. The ones I was working on last week when it happened were short courses so course size doesn't seem to be the issue.
