Errors showing up in published PowerPoint
Mar 03, 2015
One of the slides in my PowerPoint includes four numbered items. For the first item listed, the number "1" does not show up after adding audio and publishing through Presenter. It I there during the audio recording but it is not present in the published version. There is no animation associated with this particular slide. Looked back at the PowerPoint version and the number is still there.
The same thing is happening with animation on one slide. Extra animation is occurring on text that has a different animation attached. I have words that are animated with a shaking motion. But when the published product is played, in addition to the shaking motion, the words also turn red. This only happens in the published version.

Hello Avil,
I want to confirm that you are working locally with all of your files. Also, when you test the published output, are you viewing it in its intended environment?
Hello Emily,
Thank you for responding.
Yes I am working with files locally. With regard to viewing, ultimately it will be available on our website.
Thank you,
Hi Avil,
Have you tested this from your webserver? Or are you viewing this locally?
Only locally at this point. Do you think it will play out differently on the webserver?
It is best to test on the webserver as testing locally can cause issues with local security settings.
