flash files not playing in Presenter

You'll want to make sure you're following the steps outlined here to insert your Flash files.  Also, once you've published your presenter output, you'll want to look at testing the published output within the intended environment as testing it locally could cause you to encounter security restrictions and the content may not play as expected.

The instructions say that if there's no interactivity in the flash file to insert it as a video, but when I do that, it previews really strange with strange sounds. Any idea why that is happening?

First, I wanted to let you know that replying via email includes your signature here and you're welcome to remove that and update the post as needed.

In regards to your Flash - you could insert as the Flash or video version, and if it doesn't have interactivity the video version is typically best. I haven't experienced the preview behavior you've described, but I'd be curious to know how it behaves when you publish it as well and then upload in the intended environment. Also, if you'd like to share a copy of the Flash file here I'm happy to do some testing in my own Presenter courses.
