Importing SWF not working

So, my company needed to make something that just wasn't possible with Articulate Studio (although it WILL be with Storyline, hurrah!). We couldn't wait on this project for Storyline to come out, and Snap! Empower could do what we needed, so we bought that to do this one thing then import it into Articulate Studio.
Empower outputs a single SWF file with no sub-folders, so this should have worked smoothly.
However, even though the "movie" shows fine WHILE placing it (in the pop-up window where you choose settings) it disappears in preview and publish. I can even use the functionality (mouse-overs, buttons, etc) in the pop-up window... but for some reason it seems to "disappear".
How do I fix this?

Hi Kayla
I suppose it could be a couple of things, either Snap!empower uses actionscript 3 or its swfs reference root for some reason, you could test by inserting it into your storyline beta if it plays it is likely AS3 so would need to be brought in as a web object
