I'm trying to insert flv video files into the powerpoint, but it says to verify that the necessary codec is installed. I thought I was supposed to use flv...?
Then, restart your machine. If you still have the issues, then it's likely that the video was converted using a proprietary codec that Articulate cannot use. Thus, you may need to reconvert the video using a different program (like Articulate Video Encoder).

Hi Darcy and welcome to Heroes,
If you are unable to import or convert a video, please close PowerPoint and install the following codec packs:
K-Lite Codec Pack Full (accept all default installation options):
http://www.free-codecs.com/K_Lite_Codec_Pack_download.htm
Media Player Codec Pack (deselect toolbar options during installation):

Then, restart your machine. If you still have the issues, then it's likely that the video was converted using a proprietary codec that Articulate cannot use. Thus, you may need to reconvert the video using a different program (like Articulate Video Encoder).
