iPad Air - Problem occurred with this webpage so it was reloaded.

I have republished all courses for a particular client using the Presenter 360 most current updated software then imported it to my LMS provided by Silkroad.  All courses, other than slight differences with HTML5 animation timings, work fine except for one.  This course works fine on a PC and iPad Pro, but not on an iPad Air with the most current software.  This has been recreated by Silkroad.  The error shows in the browser as "A problem occurred with this webpage so it was reloaded."  Then it ask me if I want to resubmit the form.  No matter my answer, it takes me to the LMS Dashboard and I have to restart the course.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Keith,

Is the iPad Air the same iOS as the other two? That's the only thing that I could imagine being different. Also have you looked at how this behaves outside the LMS to confirm that there isn't something at Silkroad timing out? I'd always recommend testing at SCORM Cloud which is an industry standard for LMS testing.

As a follow up, a file was submitted to Articulate, Case #01046739.  Abel was able to reproduce the issue on the iPad and iPhone.  It's been logged as a possible software bug.  Abel asked for another presentation which I uploaded.

FYI, these courses worked fine on the iPad prior to the last Articulate360 update.  I know you guys are busy, but there are a lot of iPad Air units on the market.  This is what many of my clients purchased for their sales teams and drivers.

Please put me on the list to be notified when an update is made to the software.  As always, thank you.

Hi Keith.  Thanks for the follow up.  I had a look at Abel's case with you, and he documented this issue for us to work on.

The only workaround he listed was to remove the audio that was imported on each slide.  We get that it's not ideal to do that.

I can certainly appreciate your pain with this.  We'll inform you of any updates!

It's been 6 months, any word on fixing the bug?  I just had another course doing the same thing.  Please review all notes before requesting any uploads.  When we receive calls on this, we have to ask them to use a PC.  It's getting old.  I hope you guys have your head above water now.  Thanks!

We are experiencing this same issue with all of our new courses that were created in Storyline 360.  The courses worked fine up until the point where we added the audio files to the courses. Now when launched in our LMS (YourMembership Learning Crowd Wisdom) the courses kicks the learner out at about the 10-20 minute mark (the courses are about 2 hours in length). This is happening on iPad Pro and  iPad Air 2.  Since many of our learners will be using mobile devices, this is very problematic. Any idea when this bug will be fixed?

Hi Keith and Katie,

Justin recently shared a bit more information on this here, and what we're doing about it.  It's not an easy, or quick, fix to implement - but we know how crucial it is, so our team is focused on this.

I'll share the experience you are both having, as all that information about devices and when a course stops loading is helpful!
