Old Presentation doesn't display correctly in browsers
Apr 24, 2018
Hi,
I created a long education program in Presenter about four years ago. When I try to play it now it does not build some components and even the resume screen is all white.
I've tried to play it in Chrome, Safari and Firefox. Firefox seems to work the best of the three, but it still is not what it should be.
I have all the old source files and I opened the old ppta in Articulate 360 and started to publish it, but it crashes each time I have done it.
I was probably using Studio 13 and this has a presentation_html5 launch index file so I was hoping it still would be running in an HTML5 browser.
Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Hi there George!
I'd agree that republishing the old files with Studio 360 is a smart move, since you'll get greater HTML5 support out of Studio 360 files. Really sorry to hear that it crashed when you tried to publish!
Mind if we have a look at your original Studio '13 files? You can send them to us right here, and we'll try upgrading them to Studio 360 on our end.
Be sure to let me know your case number so I can follow along!
Hi Alyssa,
I uploaded a zip file to case: 01347599
Thank you!

Thanks, George! I do see the Articulate Package you shared. You'll hear back from one of our Support Engineers soon!
Hi Alyssa,
Just wanted to follow up here and thank you and Ryan Hung for solving the issue! It is a huge ppt and Ryan discovered an issue with one slide and offered a solution that fixed it.
Thanks to the whole wonderful Articulate team!

That's wonderful news, George! I'll be sure to pass those kind words along to Ryan. 😁
