I'd like to be able to open a presentation at a particular slide number from a non-scorm compliant lms. Is there a way that I can add a parameter to the address of the show - something like http://www.MyLMS/index_lms.html?page=7?
Thanks Brian - worked like a charm! One further question - is there a way that I can trap the slide that the user is on when s/he closes the window. I know that this is possible with SCORM - but I have a non-SCORM LMS and just want to be able to let users restart modules where they left off. My course has 16 modules (each a separate publication) and I am not sure that the FLASH cookies would work for restarting.

Hi Roger & welcome to Heroes,
To link to a specific slide, simply add the following to the end of the player.html link:
player.html?slide=1
(where the slide number equals the slide that you want to link to)
The entire link would look something like this:
http://www.testlink.com/test/player.html?slide=1

Hi Roger,
Yes, we have a lot of our users that resume via Flash Cookies:
