I have a background playlist that plays
through several consecutive slides. However, I want the playlist to
mute automatically when I launch an Engage interaction that has its own
embedded audio or video.
If the Engage interaction is on it's own slide (not within the player tab) you could disable the Playlist from within the slide properties and set it to None as in the image below:
Thank for the fast turn around. Actually the engage interaction is within the player tab, and not a slide on its own. Any ideas for that?
When the presentation was published under '09, the playlist would stop as soon as I open the engage interaction (allowing me to play a video within the interaction) and then start up again (from where it had stopped) as soon as I closed the engage interaction. I am looking for similar behaviour in Presenter '13.
I tested this myself to confirm, and the playlist audio does not pause automatically, but audio on each individual slide does pause when you open up an interaction. Are you able to share your Presenter files with us here so that our QA team can test further? Once you submit your case, please let me know your case number so I can touch base them them.
