Presenter 7 conditionally locked slide navigation
Mar 26, 2014
I have some presenter 6 presentations where the slide navigation is normally locked, but we needed developers and QA to be able to quickly navigate through the entire presentation. My solution for presenter 6 was to make a copy of the /data/playerproperties.xml file and adjust the flowcontrol mode from locked to free, but only serve the playerproperties.xml with unlocked navigation under certain circumstances.
In presenter 7 with the html5 presentation and the flash version for incompatible browsers, I haven't yet been able to figure out how to conditionally unlock the navigation like I did with the presentations from version 6. Is there a way to manipulate the settings of the generated files (frame.xml, frame.js, presentation.js, user.js)?
Also, is there any complete documentation on the javascript player object? I found the following support article, but it's not as detailed as I need: http://www.articulate.com/support/storyline/javascript-best-practices-and-examples

Hi Michael and welcome to E-Learning Heroes!
I am not aware of any other Javascript documentation as that is not something that is supported by Articulate.
Perhaps someone in the community will be able to assist you because we do not support the manipulation of published output.
