I've got a few problems with videos not playing inside the published presentations.
I created the videos using camtasia so they are all mp4.
I can view them when i look at a preview of articulate inside powerpoint but when i publish them to my lms using articulate presenter some of the videos fail to play. All i get is a flash loading circle but the video fails to ever load.
The mp4 videos are not big files on average about 897 KB.
Thanks for going through those steps, Chris. At this point, I'd recommend sending us your files so we can take a closer look, pinpoint the issue, and work with you to find a solution. If you'd like to do that, please create an Articulate Presenter package, then upload the zip file to our server. You can review how to do this here:
Please be sure to include a description of your issue, your version of PowerPoint, version of Windows and version of Presenter '09, which you can find in Help and Support -> About Articulate Presenter. Please also include the URL for this thread so I can follow up with you personally in the forums. Thanks!
If you've included videos in your Articulate content and find that they do not play in your published output, please review this article and let us know if it resolves the issue. Thanks!

Thanks for your help.
But I still problem. Then I try open player.html by Firefox and amazing the problem is disappearance. Maybe it depends on browsers.
Any resolution to this? My ticket with articulate hasn't helped. I was told to Insert - movie, which I've done a million times and either the movie doesn't play or it disappears entirely. The movie plays in the presenter panel and in a new window but not in the slide. Please help!!
@Lauren - Sorry to hear you're still having trouble. Do you have a case number for the ticket you submitted, so that I can follow up with the support engineer and let him / her know you're still having trouble? Thanks!
AS I am working on localizing the English courses in to Japanese hence changed the fonts to Arial MS unicode.
When I preview the movie inside power point it works fine but when I publish them to my lms using articulate presenter then the movie doesn't play. Though quizzes and engage interactions in Japanese play fine in the published version.
Till now my swf files were playing fine in the published presenter. But suddenly is stopped.
Have you tried testing your presentation on a different server, to see if it may be an issue with the LMS?
If you'd like, you can try testing the course in SCORM Cloud to see if the videos will play on another host. If they don't play there, it may be an issue with the file. If they do play in SCORM Cloud, it may be an issue with the LMS.

Welcome to Heroes, Chris!
Take a look at our KB on some common issues and solutions for MP4s not playing properly, and let us know if you're able to resolve the issue:

Thanks!
Hi Peter,
I checked your KB before submitting this ticket.
I was using flash player 10 but updated to flash player 11.
There are no special characters in the title or file path and
There is not an issue with the server with regard to MP4 MIME otherwise none of the videos would play.
As i mentioned earlier my videos are already mp4. They were made or recorded using camtasia.
I have tried an unistall and reupload of my articulate resenter files to the LMS but this makes no difference.
Cheers
Chris

Hi Team,

Hi Nisha,
Have you tried testing your presentation on a different server, to see if it may be an issue with the LMS?

If the movie doesn't play in SCORM Cloud, we'd be happy to take a look at the file.
Thanks!
