Publishing Articulate file adds about 8 seconds to animated slides

Apr 04, 2011

Hi everyone,

I am using PowerPoint 2007 with Articulate Presenter 09.  My files are on my local hard drive.  I have a few slides that I have set timed animations on.  In the preview of PowerPoint, they run as timed.  When I publish the file and go through it, the animations look good but once they are done, there is about 8 seconds added to the timeline before the Play button becomes available to move to the next slide.  This is consistent on any slide where I have timed animations.

Is there a setting in Articulate that I am missing?

Thanks so much,

Lisa

Hi Lisa & welcome to Heroes,

Can you try publishing your presentation to a new folder on your Desktop?  There might be a caching issue that is causing the problem.

If you still have issues, I would suggest you submit a case by following the steps below.

Please create an Articulate Presenter package, then upload the zip file to our server. You can review how to do this here:

Send to Articulate Presenter Package – Articulate Presenter ’09 Help

Upload the resulting zip file from your computer to our server using this upload form:

Articulate Support - Upload Your Files for Review

Please be sure to include a description of your issue, your version of PowerPoint, version of Windows and version of Presenter '09 which you can find in Help and Support -> About Articulate Presenter. Please also include the URL for this thread so we can follow up with you in the forums.
