Currently the LMS administrators can't get my published presentations going. I have asked for them to provide screenshots of errors but all they say is that they get a blank page. I have been told to publish them using MS office version 2003-97 versions but I don't undertstand this as at the end the content is in SWF (flash) format?
I'm using MS office 2007, Can this be an issue for the LMS?
I think they don't really have an idea of where to look for the error. Last email I got was:
- in the lms / lms.js there is syntax error that is displayed as an error from IE 8. - Line 441 - missing semicolon
I don't belive that Articulate would generate code and have a missing semicolon? Also I asked for them to try on another browser and no responce .Rrrrrrr!
The presentation starts asking if you want to proceed where you last left, if you click "yes" the navigation disappears. What does not make sence is why it is asking to start where you last left off when viewing it for the first time?
I'd recommend running your course through the SCORM Cloud Test Track which you can find in section 3 of this article on troubleshooting Articulate/LMS issues. That will allow you to determine whether the issue is with your content or on the LMS side of things. I'd then pass the results of that onto your LMS team for them to review.

Office version does not affect your users ability to view the published conttect.
Are you publishing to scorm or web?
Hi Phil, Thank you for your reply. Actually I am publishing for Scorm 1.2
then ensure you are using articulate to zip your content or zip the folder contents, the manifest file needs to be in the root of the zipped folder
Do your lms people give any direction on why it isnt working?
The office version is a red herring, tell them they can ignore that as the final product is flash
that I have done (ZIP)

Hi Again,
It seems the problem is as follows:
The presentation starts asking if you want to proceed where you last left, if you click "yes" the navigation disappears. What does not make sence is why it is asking to start where you last left off when viewing it for the first time?

Which LMS are you using?
Thank you for your help heroes,
Peter I will try what you suggested, really good to know this is available.
Phil, I don't know but will ask.
Again thank you!
