Repair flag
Sep 30, 2015
Continually get repair signal. Spent 2 hours and replaced file 3 times - only on this one file:
"Some controls on this presentation can't be activated. They might not be registered in this computer' This happens after 'PowerPoint found a problem with content in Cancer Awareness Module 1.pptx. PowerPoint can attempt to repair the presentation. If you trust the source of this presentation, click Repair.
I've clicked Repair and all x's appear on the entire presentation and I've clicked cancel and it just goes to a blank screen. HELP!!!!!

Sorry for the issue you've run into - and you'll want to be sure you review all the information here. That thread Dave shared is correct but a bit lengthy!

I wonder if using Chrome as my default browser will cause this problem to happen all over again...it has Flash 19 pre-installed. I guess I can use Firefox as my default until Adobe fixes Flash. Any thoughts?
Hi Jill,
You should be ok using Chrome - as it's Flash installed on your system that had the issue not the particular browser version of Flash.
