Repeated animations not appearing

Aug 01, 2013

Hi!

I have a problem with repeating animations on the same object.

I have an object, and need it to show up, disappear, and show up once again (several times). Ex:

Fade in (1)

Disappear (1)

Fade in (2)

It works OK as expected on PPT (2010); however, when previewing to Presenter I get only the first two animations. Fade(2) doesn't show up.

Also I note that selecting (in  PPT animation) "Rewind after reproduction", the option doesn't seem to be interpreted by Presenter. (Is this so?). For this reason, I stack successive opposite animations in order to recover the initial state and get the effect I need.

Suggestions?

Hi Guido,

The "repeat animations"  or "rewind animations when done" features in Powerpoint are not supported in Presenter. Here you can find a list of all supported animations. It sounds like what you've set up in terms of stacking successive animations is a viable work around, and the community may have other suggestions.

Thanks, Ashley.

Ok for "rewinding".

When you say "stacking animations", lets see if we are saying the same thing.

Do you mean that I have to duplicate the animated object if I have an "Exit animation" in my list, and other animations on the same objet following?.  In other words, the system will not operate once again over an objet after an Exit animation. It needs a new object in place. Is this the way it works?

(That is what I am doing now, and am wanting to check if this is the only option I have).
