Ribbon add-in error, run-time 5 error, etc..
Nov 13, 2013
I am having some serious issues with Presenter 09. I've had it installed for about 6 months and everything has been fine (I did once have an error for the ribbon add-in, so I removed and added it back; seemed to fix the problem).
Powerpoint is shutting down at random times while I'm working on a project. Just shuts down and I'll get an error once it tries to restart, again that I've encountered a serious problem with the ribbon add-in. I've tried removing and adding back; doesn't seem to help.
I've also had issues with a "run-time error 5 - invalid procedure call or argument." (What is that??)
Today I created a package of my work (presenter with quizmaker) and after that, was attempting to publish. PPT shut down and when I went to open the ppt in the package, my audio was missing AND when I clicked the "Import Audio" tab, I got a strange screen -- no where to input audio. I've attached a screenshot of this. (attempted to attach a screenshot of the error message as well, but apparently you can only use one attachment here??)
Please help!!

I am having the same issue today (the ribbon error). My PowerPoint just freezes up in the middle of working on Articulate and when I checked for updates it states that there are no updates at this time.
