Runtime error

Mar 28, 2014

I have just updated to Studio 13 from 09. When I first run Presenter and clicked 'launch powerpoint' I got an error saying my version of ppt is incompatible (im running Office 2013 32bit on a 64bit PC). So I opened ppt and the Articulate ribbon only responds with 'Custom UI Runtime Error in Articulate Presenter Ribbon......"

I then went to File > Options > Addins >Manage: Disabled Items and enabled 'Addin: articulate (articulate.ppa), but on restarting ppt I now I get the following; Any ideas anyone?

Hi Anton,

I'm not sure if Brian has any additional information on the issue at this time.

However, I wanted to suggest reaching out to our Success Team. If you explain the issue to them, I'm sure they'll work with you to provide a one-time trial extension. You can email them directly at Success@articulate.com, or give them a call (from 8a to 8p EST) at 800-861-4880. You can also chat with someone live (during the hours above) here

I hope this information helps!

Disappointed that there seem to be no resolution to my issue and no further feedback on progress. We have been using Studio for 5 years now, and my team were looking forward to upgrading to the latest iteration, but if I cant get it to work on my machine, there seems little point in investing in the upgrade. I wonder if the response would have been different if I has already purchased the upgrade?

Regards, Anton.
