Studio 360 not functioning despite reinstall of office and Articulate 360

None of the options on the Articulate Studio Presenter ribbon are responding.
In addition, PowerPoint "Change Picture" and querying to save changes before closing weren't working.
I got with my tech support and she uninstalled and reinstalled Office, same issues. Then she uninstalled all Articulate 360, and the PowerPoint issues with "Change Picture" and saving worked fine. When she reinstalled Articulate 360 programs including Studio, the same problems were back with PowerPoint and no response at all from Studio ribbon options.
I am on a deadline to update a Studio course and I can't make any changes to it - your quick attention appreciated, Articulate folks. I would have sent it straight to tech support, but, you know.

One workaround that worked for me for some reason was saving in Download rather than Documents.
