We are building a module for a faculty member at our institution who has used the laser pointer on his narrated powerpoint. We can see the pointer when we sync animations, but it's not showing up when we publish it. Are we missing a setting? Any ideas?
I'm not familiar with the "laser pointer". Is that a PowerPoint add-in? Could be that it's unsupported by Presenter, if so. How did you add it to the presentation?
I would think so and we suggested that. We have offered to recreate the mouse laser pointer movements using annotations, but the faculty member with whom we are working is resistant. Not sure why. He is recording his narrations to PowerPoint and we are syncing them and publishing them for use online. He is wanting to use Camtasia, I think.

It's a mouse pointer you can use while you narrate. See here for more info.

Thanks for the link, Carolyn. Unfortunately, that is not supported by Presenter.
Would annotations be an acceptable substitute for the laser pointer?

Good luck with the project
We'll need it.
