We are having intermittent problems with the volume and resources boxes being behind the course content with Studio 360. Here are screen captures from Articulate Review pasted into PowerPoint. Anyone else having this problem.
Case # 01737256 and Case #01721198. Rowie published the course and it was OK so I assumed it was an intermittent thing. Then another developer opened a case and the solution was to lock the course at optimal size as a setting instead of having it fill the screen. That is the only information I have, and we don't lock courses at the optimal size as a setting if we don't have to. It is much better for users to be able to watch a course that fills their browser and maximizes their screen space.
Case #01721198. Rowie will log it as a bug. Hopefully it can be resolved soon. Users may not notice/use the volume button, but a glossary of terms in the top right of the player that goes behind the course content when opened will be used and not be able to show any terms/definitions.
...my mistake. It wasn't a glossary of terms the other developer was using, it was a resources drop-down in the top right of the player that had pdfs in it. So the pdfs can't be accessed because they are behind the course content.
Clients don't want courses locked at optimal size. They want it to fill the screen of their users. How can this not be fixed after 6 months? Rowie just confirmed it is not fixed yet.
Katie, this bug needs fixed. Locking a course at a certain size doesn't make sense in a world where users have different sized screens and devices. Users generally want the course to fill their screen, that is why they buy screens of a certain size. Besides, the player settings in Articulate 360 still have a setting for "Scale player to fill browser window." If you aren't going to support that setting, then remove it from your software.
I attached a screen capture and you can see the Resources tab is behind the slide. This was published this week. I submitted a case about this in March (Case # 01737256 and Case #01721198)
We just released an update for Studio 360, and included a few important fixes that you'll see in the release notes here.
The item you'll be interested in is: The volume slider and the resources tab could appear behind slide content when the player scaled to fill the browser.
Just launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and click the Update button for Studio 360. Details here.

Hi Brian,
Thanks for reaching out! I see you opened a case about the same issue earlier this month, and you shared your Presenter 360 project files with Rowie.
Are you running into this issue again? Do you notice that it happens in a certain web browser, or only when the browser window is large?
The more details you can provide, the better!

I've added your note/concern to both cases so that we can get these connected and dig in a bit more.

Hi, Brian. Appreciate you updating the community! 🌟
While our team looks into this issue, the current workaround is to change the Player size setting to Lock player at optimal size.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention, and I'll keep you posted with any changes to the bug!
I have the same issue and will try locking until fix is reported.
The problem noted here persists. Will a fix be coming soon?
