Volume controls disappearing behind slides

I just finished (or so I thought) producing a set of courses using Studio 360. The customer has been going through them with a fine tooth comb, and noticed that the volume control in the player is disappearing behind the slides--but only on some of the slides. There is no apparent rhyme or reason; some of the slides have no audio, some have videos, some have animations, and others have audio but nothing else.

In the attached, he says, the volume controls disappear on slides 1, 5, 6, 8, 17 and 19.

Has anyone ever seen anything like this before? Any ideas?

Thanks for reaching out and describing what the customer is experiencing.

Do you know the environment/browser that they were viewing the content in?

We do have a similar issue reported to our team specific to viewing the content in Safari when the player is set to "Scale Player to fill Browser Window". 

Let me know if this is what they are seeing as well and I'll add this instance to our report.

If not that's not it, then with your permission, I'd like you to share your project file with our support engineers to investigate what's happening. You can share it privately by uploading it here. It will be deleted when troubleshooting is complete.

Thanks, Karin. That sounds like a match for the bug Leslie mentioned so we'll update the report with our team to let them know. You can change the setting to "lock player" and that'll prevent you from running into the issue while we investigate. 

I saw you shared your PPTX file, but we'd need the entire Presenter package to take a look at all those settings. If you're able to share that, let us know here or send along to our Support Team

The item you'll be interested in is:
The volume slider and the resources tab could appear behind slide content when the player scaled to fill the browser.

Just launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and click the Update button for Studio 360. Details here.
