Web Object and IE

Jun 30, 2011

Hi there,

I'm having a slight issue getting a web object to show up in IE8 within the presentation. It is an ASP page, though a regular HTML page didn't show either.  I can only get it to show if opened in a new browser window in IE, instead of embedded in the presentation. Though it works just fine showing within the presentation in Chrome, FireFox, and Opera.

This project is running on an external IIS 7 server.  I attempted to change all of IE's authorization/security policies to see if that was the case, but no luck.  Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Regards,

Brian

My apologies for not replying sooner.  I do not have a link with an example available at this time, but I did figure out a solution to my issue.  What I had done initially was take the guts out of player.html, put some classic asp code around certain parts, then renamed it with the .asp extension.

What resolved the issue, and what is an easier solution anyway was this: I created an asp page with my authentication/authorization in place, then just "included" (#include in this case) the file inside of my code wrapper.

Still somewhat strange as the presentation worked on my first go-round, just not the web object.  Thank you for your initial quick reply!

Cheers,

Brian
