Win7,Office2010 ->can't edit project created with WinXp,Office2003

Hello,

one of our clients has created a articulate project with Powerpoint 2003 on Windows XP.

when we have to rework something and open the project with Office2010 on Windows7 following issues occur:

1.  Publish & Preview of the project is not possible ->  the progress bar of the dialog "Publishing preview" gets stuck at creating playlists..
2.  "Slide Properties": when i click on it, i see that some files of the ppta will be extracted, but then powerpoint freezes and the dialog "slide properties" doesn't open
   
   
   
   All that we tried so far:
   
   • Files are on the local drive,
   • Office2010 is installed as 32bit version
   • virus scan is disabled
   • reinstalled articulate several times
   • i have a lenovo pc -> software soundmax is not running

I would be pleased for every hint!
