Hi, everyone!
I have some great news to share. We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Build 3.80.30988.0, we've included important fixes and new features.
One fix included in this update:
- Font sizes shrunk for sequence drop-down answers when previewed or published.
Launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer to take advantage of this update, and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You'll find our step-by-step instructions here.
Please let me know if you need additional help!

Hi Marcella.
It is not currently possible to change the font size of drag and drop answers. I would suggest submitting a feature request for this if this is something you would like to see in a future release.
Any changes regarding this problem?
Hi Dmitry!
What version of Studio are you utilizing. You can edit the answers in Studio '13.

/mHi Leslie,
I only have Quizmaker, but it is Quizmaker '13.

If you need me to take a look feel free to share your .quiz file if you're still having an issue.
I use SL2
Thanks for the information Dmitry! We are in the Quizmaker forums, so I just assumed that was the software that you were utilizing.
We have a similar issue reported for Storyline 2 related to increasing the font for a sequence drag and drop, but the preview/publish remains smaller. Is that what you are experiencing as well? This is currently being investigated.
Hi Leslie, is this already solved for storyline? Please let me know, because when not i design it in a freeform.
Thanks Tineke
Hi Tineke!
I do not have an update on this issue as it is still in the hands of our QA Team and in testing. It looks like we only have one customer example and it is not reproducible by our team at this time, so totally up to you with how you want to approach this :)
Thank you. I made a nice freeform out of it!
Sounds great Tineke! Thanks for sharing :)
Hi Leslie,
I am having a similar issue with wanting to change the fonts on drag and drop sequence answers. Is there a fix for this yet?
Thanks!
Hi Debra,
I see that this issue is still with our QA team, and that it's not been reproduced with the recent Update 5 of Storyline 2. Are you seeing it in that set up? If so, do you have a sample file you could share here with us so that we could send it along to our QA team to continue reviewing?
Hi Ashley & Leslie,
I've been coming up with the same issue in SL2 with drag & drop sequencing and font size of the published (and previewed) quiz being too small. I think I have a sample for you to check out!
This is the second course that has had this problem. Both are files created in SL1 and updated to SL2. The first time it happened I managed to fix it, but I don't know what I did. :-( This time I can't get it to work.
I realize this is a Quizmaker forum. :-) If you'd like for me to jump forums, just holler!
Tess
Hi Tess,
Thanks for sharing your .story file here. I took a look and see the same behavior in your file. I notice that when I import your file into a new .story file if the new file has a smaller, standard story size the sequence drag and drop sizing works normally. If I changed the story size again to match what you had, the sizing gets small again. I tested this in a brand new file to see if I could replicate it and the behavior didn't persist. I'm going to share this example with our team though as they continue to investigate.
I can confirm that this is still happening with the latest version of Storyline. Very hard to manipulate text size of the drag 'n drop items for sequencing.
Yes Alexander, this issue is still in the hands of our QA Team. I have no update to provide on this, but this thread is flagged so that we can update when applicable.
Has there been any progress on this issue, now that SL2 versions have revised many times? I tried SL2U11 but the font size issue is still the same. The font size cannot be manually adjusted. It goes very tiny automatically.
Hi Bandhu,
Thanks for reaching out here. It's an issue that is still with our QA team and they've had inconsistent results reproducing it. To confirm, the issue that is reported here allowed the user to adjust the font size on the slide stage but then preview/publish displays it at a much smaller size. Also it's something our team has seen when there was a change in story size to a much larger size.
We'll keep you posted here if there is any additional information or changes.
Hi I want to follow that thread too. I am using SL 360 and the font is not big enough for my client and I can't enlarge it.
This known problem from over three years ago was not corrected in 360?
Not yet as far as I know. I just tried to group my answers so that I have less and that the font really show a size 16 but it appears like a size 12 whatever the number of answers.
Hi Helene and Alexander,
This issue is still present in Storyline 3/360 as well - and it's based on using a custom story size to something much larger and the text size changes. I'll make sure our team knows that the issue is still visible there so that we can take a look at this again.
Depending on priority and risk, some bugs can be fixed quickly, while others take longer to resolve. Here's more information on how we identify and tackle bugs.
I’ll let you know as soon as we have an update on this issue. Thanks so much again for letting us know about this, and I’m sorry if it’s slowing you down.
Hi everyone, just to let you know I have the same issue as well (In Storyline 2)
Using a custom template and in the slide view, the font is 24 point and yet when previewing, the text size of the answers is only about 12 point. Strangely it only happens with 'Sequence Drag and Drop' it is fine on the 'Matching Drag and Drop' if that helps.
Thanks Mike for sharing here.
Once a bug is reported, here's how we tackle it. We're careful about testing new updates to make sure we don't put other features at risk.
We'll keep you posted once there is more information to share.
