can't activate replay

I previously installed Replay on my computer and was able to activate it because I had purchased Storyline. When I try to open Replay now it asks me to activate it. I don't have a serial number to input. I thought that I had originally just put my SL serial number in to activate this, but now that doesn't work. Am I wrong? I thought that for awhile Replay could be downloaded for free with a SL license. Was that for a limited time?
