I've recently done a screenrecording with Replay and published it only to find that there is no picture whatsoever in the final output - just a blank screen.
I have repaired replay, updated replay, tried viewing with WMP and VLC and within a SL project and I'm still not getting any image on the final output.
the published mp4 only contains sound but nothing else (i recorded myself with a camera and mixed my recorded screen with a short extract from another video file).
Nothing appears but I can hear the audio...
Hope this bug will be fixed very quickly because the software cannot be used if we cannot publish our work...Or, maybe do we have to change a few parameters somewhere ??
I think it may be corruption of files somewhere coz my colleague also uses Replay and has no issues whatsoever so it is clearly an issue related to the software on my machine but I don't know why it would be different as we both have exactly the same computers and OS (Windows 7)
There was a small update released earlier this week for Replay, have you tested that updated version? The system requirements are detailed here, and you should be able to use a 64 or a 32 bit version of Windows.
For the video you shared Harri, I see it as a blank screen but also didn't hear any audio.
A few other troubleshooting steps that you may want to check if Replay is not behaving as expected:
It looks like I just also replied to you here with some other questions/suggestions. But the issue detailed here in regards to audio is still with our QA Team for review - so we'll provide any updates here once their available.
I am having a similar issue. I have images on track A and voiceover on track B but when I publish, the only thing I get is the sound and no images. Not an issue when I use video recording with sound but issue when I lay images on track A and voice on track B. Do I have a setting incorrect? Other?
Have you recorded the track A at full screen? That's been something we've seen before in regards to a black screen as a part of the publish. Did you review the previous information I shared with Matt above in regards to other suggestions/ideas to look into? If you'd like us to take a look at your .replay file we're also happy to and you can share it here with us.

I also use Windows 7 -64 bits.
I will try with another PC and let you know the results of my tests.
The result is the same with another PC. It is also a W7 but 32 bits.
I hope that the articulate team will react quickly or I will have to use another tool to create my videos.

If you're still having difficulty, are you able to share your Replay file with our Support team here?
Hi Ashley,
I've tried all of that and am still encountering issues.
Hi Harri,
Thanks for confirming that you've already done those troubleshooting steps, are you able to share your Replay file with our Support team here?
Hi Ashley,
I've submitted a support case: 00373042
FYI there was no sound on my video (sorry, forgot to mention that)
Hi Ashley,
I have tried all of that to and still have the same issue.
The only difference between your procedure and my pc is that i have DirectX 11 (and not DirectX 9) = can it be a problem ?
Thanks Harri for the case number, I'll follow along as I see Regil requested the .replay file.
Beatrice,
You should be ok using DirectX11 - but the thing you'll want to check is that you have the latest video card drive available.
I am having the same problem running 64 bit windows 7, with latest video card drivers and settings.
An Update the only option that allows me to get video is if I record in 4:3 any other screen size is worthless.
