i received some audio in an articulate replay file, when i was expecting them to come in an articulate presenter file. is there a way i can simply convert the file to presenter format? or would i need to get it re-recorded?
i cant see a way i can extract the audio from inside this articulate replay program (i only have the trial version).
i tried using 7-zip to extract the .replay file, and it doesnt extract audio files into individual mp3 or wav files, like it does with articulate presenter files.
I have not tried this with Reply but have done it with other video - try importing the published video from Replay into Camtasia and then publishing as mp3.
.... another option, If you only want the sound file and you have Audacity to hand, simply play the Replay file and record sound through the Audacity Windows DirectSound Stero Mix option. Then save as MP3.
Hi Nick, I've never tried this. How is the quality?

Hi Nick and welcome to E-Learning Heroes!
You could try an audio converter, some users were making recommendations here if you would like to take a look.
hi,
thanks for the reply.

any other ideas?

Nick,
I do not think this can be done - as you say, there's no real way to extract the sound.
I may be wrong, however, I think re-record is the simplest way to go here.

or export as mp4 and then use an online mp4 to mp3 converter
...I stand corrected.

Just tried it and sounded like I was in a box, in a cave, surrounded by sound-absorbing fluffy things.......
Perhaps there's another setting I need to make?
Thanks Nick, that is good to know.
