I've had this on multiple occasion. See the attached image. The user was testing to see if it had a bookmarking feature, and received this window when reopening. You can see that the text just isn't there. She clicked yes and it took her to where she left off. This isn't even anything a developer can adjust. Why is it doing this and what's the fix?
Thanks Steve. I think it was that first item. Is there a way of testing the resume feature, without uploading it to an LMS? I'd like to confirm that it's displaying properly before sending it along to the learning folks.
Certainly, just publish for CD rather than LMS and run the executable file that gets generated in the folder you publish to. Go through a few slides and then exit. Then relaunch the EXE again. You should be prompted to resume.
If you're also not ready to upload it to your live LMS, you could use a testing platform like SCORM Cloud. Run through a few slides there, close the course and then relaunch it to look for that resume prompt. This article will walk you through how to test at SCORM Cloud.

Go into the Player's Colors & Effects options and be sure the text color for these two settings is not set to white:
