Conditioning slides to go all the way through !

Jul 17, 2023

Hi! I hope you can help me. I am currently creating e-learning on office etiquette, but I have many issues with making sure I can condition to go through all of one of the training parts (restricting access to move forward until completed and go back to the slide that has all the options) How can I make sure the user is unable to move forward until complete the section? How can I show that the icon section has been completed if they finished the section?

Background Information : Example: Scene 2 Policies

  •  The user has two options to go through Dress Code Icon or Party Icon (Slide 2.1)
  • I want them to complete all sections (Slides 2.3-2.13) from the dress code. This also goes for the respected order for Party Icon (Slide 2.2-2.24)
  • Be re-directed back the (Slide 2.1) when completely one of those icon sections. Then it allows them to choose their other option and complete it.
  • Once they have done both icon sections from (Slide 2.1), it would go back into Slide 1.3 to allow me to click to the next scene (Common Courtesies)
  • Then this will repeat the process, two icon sections, complete each icon section, not allowed to move to the other one until completely finished it.

Can you please help me on how to do this?

The Restricted Navigation does not show the link to the next section until the previous section has been viewed. The Mixed Navigation allows the various sections to be visited in any order, but does not allow going to the End until all sections have been viewed. The Free Navigation allows the sections to be visited in any order, and the End to be visited at any time.
I would think you can use the Mixed Navigation. Let them choose either option, but once started do not allow a return to the menu slide until the chosen option is finished. Then after both are completed, instead of jumping to the end, jump to the next choice slide.
