I'd like to be able to copy my radio button since I have the states set up just the way I want. Every time I try, Storyline2 shuts down on me. Anyone else have this problem?

So, the delay has been challenging the team to try to come up with a helpful recommendation for you.
The overall recommendation seems to be to re-create, which I'm sure is not what you were hoping for.
What we found is that it seems to be limited to your file. I cannot create the crashing issue in a new file, but even importing your file into a new file causes the issue - which seems to indicate corruption.
As far as the color/formatting changes, this would need to be handled manually as well.
Again, I did share with our QA Team as the behavior is certainly odd and has affected at least one other customer and does not resolve itself by importing into a new file.
Are you grading these? I noticed it seemed to be a manual build versus a question type with the radio buttons.
This questions are not graded. It is much easier for the final, which is a question bank. I can copy/paste entire slides and just change the text and/or images.

I am having the same issue with using format painter with Storyline 360. However, it is related to the states of a shape and not a button. I can format paint simple objects but not an object with 4 states.
With the format painter, you can copy over formatting on built-in states (disabled, hover, visited, etc.) but not on custom states, even if the names match. We also won't add missing states to a new object. Does that match what you're seeing?
If it's something else that's not working, I'd love to take a look. It may be easiest to see this if you can take a Peek of the problem? You can include the "Share" link here in your reply!
That is exactly the scenario. I have some custom states and when I made changes to them in one part of the course I was trying to format paint them across the rest of the course. I have a work around but it just breaks all the triggers and I have to reset them.
I definitely understand - perhaps instead you could look at duplicating the objects and then making changes? Duplicating would keep all the states, triggers, etc. that you'd already set up.

I am wonderng if this is still an issue elsewhere because I have exactly this problem with SL 3. Very frustrating. New course etc. But can not copy radio buttons.

Yes, we still have this issue open for Storyline 3 and it should be included in the next version release.
