I have seen multiple strange issues when Use Modern Text is turned on. For example when fonts suddenly become italics and cannot be changed. If you turn off Use Modern Text and turn it back on it resolves the issue. Also with Japanese characters it seems to cause strange random font issues when launched from the LMS. Could this setting be behind the missing letters and font issues that have been a problem for 2 years now?
I ran into the letters missing issue, but in my case it was a corrupt font, but others had mentioned that was not the issue and are still running into the issue.
