I am using the dial interaction in a SL3 course. I want the dial to spin more than one rotation (360 degrees) in either direction.
I saw some notes on how to make this happen but I'm missing something in my settings. I changed my settings back to 360 degrees in the interim, but wondering if someone can take a look at my file and let me know what I'm doing wrong?
You could increase the values for Rotation and End Value (max. value is 9999). That would allow for several rotations. Also, you would have to do some additional math to make sure your layers still pop up when the dial variable > 360.
This is an interesting thread. I had this same experience creating a compass-type interactive- I made the Dial a 360 size, but the "compass needle" will only go around once. When I make the Rotation 720, the layers pop up in the wrong places and I can't figure out how to fix that. Here's the one that works. Any suggestions appreciated.
