Displaying a pdf, PPT in-slide with data security

I am unsure by what you are trying to accomplish in your query, but let me try.

If you mean you want added protection when a person is going through the course and will be accessing the aforementioned pdf or ppt, then perhaps adding protection through passwords would be ideal for you.
