Green check mark?

Dec 05, 2016

Hello, a green check mark has started appearing next to the titles of my quizzes in the player menu.

I don't see an ability to turn this off. Has someone figured this out?

Thank you,

Chris

I'm using SL2 and I've never seen that in the quiz menu. I just did a test with 3 quiz questions displaying in the menu and the only thing that happens for me is they are greyed out as I access each slide.

Are you able to upload your .story file - might be easier for someone to help you if they can take a look at the setup.

Hi Julia

I'm not at my desk at the moment but I can remember this was logged as an issue with the levels of menu items.

Can you screenshot your player menu.  I think it was if your quiz slides were showing in the menu and they were indented under a heading...just try moving one so that it is not showing as indented and see if that works.

Hi Julia,

This sounds familiar to another issue I've seen recently where if you use a slide title as a Header in the Menu and delete the other header on the menu, once you answer the quiz (correctly or incorrectly), the corresponding check mark or X mark will appear beside the slide name on the menu.

This is something we're only seeing in the HTML5 output and we've reported it to our team as a possible software bug. I've included this discussion as a part of that report and if you're seeing something different let me know and we'll want to take a look at your project file.
