Hi Naelag,

Which slide or layer specifically are you talking about? Is it the base layer of the last slide (1.5)? If so, I'm not seeing anything on the timeline or the master for that slide, so you may need to recreate it.

When I reviewed your file, all the other layers had content. However, when I first clicked on them, the slide layer preview windows did show just white, then everything popped up.

I've seen recommendations from Articulate staff in some threads to try importing all the slides from this project into a new project and creating a new file.

Hi Naelag,

I reviewed your file and I see what you are describing. On first glance, it looked like there are a lot of extra triggers, state changes, and other operations that you may not need. For example, you it might be easier for users to click on the shapes/buttons you have instead of the hotspots. Also, if you add one or more of the built in states (hover, selected, etc.) to an object, you don't need to create a separate trigger to make it change to that state. That is all built in.

That being said, I think either all the extra triggers and state changes are confusing the program and causing the error, or there is something else going on. Either way, I would recommend opening a support case and sending your file to the staff to take a look.

Hi Naelag!  I see that last slide with a white base layer, too.  The screenshot that you attached looks like the 5 Core Responsibilities layer.  Were those object already on the base layer at one point?  Or is it possible that you initially built them into the slide layer instead?  There is no trigger to show the 5 Core Responsibilities layer when the timeline starts on that slide (it will only show the base unless otherwise instructed).  Could that be the missing link?

You should be able to copy those items on that slide layer and paste them onto the base layer if you prefer them there.  The problem I'm finding is that the size of those shapes and hotspot dramatically increases when I copy and paste them to the base or another new layer.  I actually found that to be the case with any of the content on that slide.

Where are you saving your project files?  Just to rule it out, be sure that you're creating and editing your files on your local c: drive.  I'm not sure if there is a corrupt element on this slide that is causing this behavior.

I'm coming late to this to apologies if I've missed something - the objects are on the Core layer with no trigger to show the core layer when timeline starts.  Also all the triggers for the hotpots were unassigned. I added the show layer trigger and a few of the hotspot triggers and it looks like its working.
